The Poppins Series of dwarf patio Chrysanthemums have been developed over many years by David Kerley, a breeder of novel patio plants. The cuttings we supply are all taken from virus tested elite mother plants, to ensure that you get the best possible results.
These fantastic plants are very easy to grow and will give a glorious, colourful display in the garden from late August. Ideally, receive your plants in early/mid-June and pot, either individually in a 15cm (6") pot or three plugs in a 25-30cm (10-12") pot, or any suitable patio container. Then stand the plants out in a sunny spot in the garden, keeping the pots watered. Feed regularly with our high potash fertiliser, click to order your fertiliser. Do not stop the plants (pinch out the growing tip) because they will branch naturally. As they will also make excellent, compact plants for the front of a border, you can grow them on in a pot and then plant them out as they come into flower. Grown in this way the plants will reach around 30cm (12") in width and height, however, planting earlier in the year will give larger plants.
Following this growing advice, you will have wonderful pots, full of colour, to brighten up the garden during the late summer.
