A lovely white medium intermediate seedling from the late Gordon Dowson with neat, closed petals and named after the great man himself. Grown by Gordon for 3 years and then by a top grower for 2 years, this has proven quality, form and reliability.

This is a fantastic seedling from top breeder Dave Arnull. Named after the wife of our founder Reg Lawrence, who is still a partner in the business. It is a lovely deep purple, a strong grower to 1.2m in height and will make an excellent addition to the early intermediate section.

A fantastic open petalled, white intermediate, raised by Gordon Dowson and named after John Peace's Mum. Judged to be the Best Seedling at the National Chrysanthemum Society's Early Show 2019.

We are delighted to release this seedling from the late Gordon Dowson. Named to honour the staff of the National Health Service, who are working tirelessly throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, to keep us all safe and well cared for.

It is a strong grower to 1.4m in height, with large blooms, (15a LPU) which have a good petal lay. Stop in the third week of March for September shows. It can also be grown as a late, with a second stop around 21st June.

We are proud to have this, the last of the late Gordon Dowson's seedlings, named to honour the founder of our parent company, R.F. Lawrence and Sons, who sadly passed away in March 2020.

Many customers will remember meeting Reg at shows or the Open Weekends here on the nursery. He was always ready to talk about his love for Chrysanthemums, or many other subjects.

From early beginnings, growing many different types of vegetables and flowers, R. F. Lawrence and Sons have concentrated on bloom Chrysanthemums since the late 1970s. They are now the only large-scale producer of Chrysanthemums, for the cut flower trade, in the UK.

Since the formation of Chrysanthemums Direct in 2008, Reg has been closely interested in our achievements. He was especially proud of our record of awards won at the many shows we have attended over the years. He was awarded the National Chrysanthemum Society's Silver Medal in 2012 for his contribution to the Chrysanthemum.
